​Our Mission:

Provide beds for next of kin foster placements in the Greater Smith County Area of East Texas

To date, over 1000 beds have been provided to Smith County area children who have been removed from their homes to a relative pending a DFPS (Department of Family and Protective Services) investigation.  Our team of volunteers design, build and deliver these beds in conjunction with the Care Portal and our gracious donors, Southside Furniture and The Genesis Group.

Ongoing Needs

• Volunteers for bed construction and bed delivery
• Donations of bedding (Non-patterned, one-color standard twin sheets; One-color twin fleece blankets; standard pillows)
• Monetary donations for the purchase of lumber, fasteners, and necessary tools and equipment
