To date, over 800 beds have been provided to Smith County area children who have been removed from their homes to a relative pending a CPS investigation. Our team of volunteers design, build and deliver these beds in conjunction with the Care Portal and our gracious donors, Southside Furniture and The Genesis Group.
Ongoing Needs
- Volunteers for bed construction and bed delivery
- Donations of bedding (Non-patterned, one-color standard twin sheets; One-color twin fleece blankets; standard pillows)
- Monetary donations for the purchase of lumber, fasteners, and necessary tools and equipment
